Central NYS

 

This region in New York State referred to as Central New York (CNY)
is a "bastion" of Ecumenists, Modernists and anti-Patristic New Calendarists.

Represented in this area are the Ecumenical Patriarchate (GOAA), Russian Orthodox Church outside Russia (ROCOR-MP), Bulgarian Patriarchate (BP), Orthodox Church in America (OCA), Macedonian Orthodox Church, Antiochian Patriarchate, Coptic Church of the Alexandrian Patriarchate, & others.

The Church of Genuine (True) Orthodox Christians are in this region of New York State however, very few.  The Genuine Orthodox Church (GOC-K) under Metropolitan Demetrius of America has a presence in Southern, Eastern and Western NY. Elsewhere on this site we will offer a directory of as many of the TOC parishes, missions and monastic houses in this state.
